History/Background:

Since 1995, Explorer Post 130 has been introducing area high school students to real life Information Technology experiences through hands on activities and discussions. Explorer Post 130 services students from high schools in Lake County and surrounding areas and is organized under the National Learning for Life Organization 

 

Goal:

The goal of the Computer Science Explorer Post is to expose high school students to Information Technology in order to help them develop leadership, teambuilding and gain real life experience in the field of Computing.

Each year, we strive to complete a service project that helps in our community.

Our meeting days are every Monday from 6pm-8pm throughout the school year.
